In our continued efforts to run the practice in a manner that offers our staff and patients a high level of COVID-19 safety, an air purifier is being used in patient rooms.
The ‘InovaAir’ hospital grade air purifier works by drawing air into the system through the sides of the unit. Air passes through the dust pre-filter, and then through the H13 HEPA filter, which removes dust, allergens and sub-micron fine particle matter, including the corona virus. The purified air is then returned to the room via the high air-flow diffuser. ‘InovaAir’ are an Australian company who design and manufacture locally. We hope this will provide staff and patients with an extra level of safety against COVID-19.
